how rare are the 1946/7/8 ford sedan delivery auto's ? Is a complete one worth $5,00 in this day and age ?

I think that if you want a good guesstimate, you need to FULLY describe what you call "complete". John

The production for the 1946 sedan delivery was a total of 1,186. I dont have the number for 47 or 48. That has to make any survivors pretty rare. I would love to find one for $500.00 as I have a lot more in mine & it is a pretty good field find.

I paid way more than that, close to 2K, for my '42 Sedan Delivery (@ 1172 production). That was back in 1995 too, so I would say $500 is a steal.

I'm late on this post but, if the rocker boxes are rotten you had better
be willing to do a lot of fabbing had to do that to mine, it's not a job for
the faint of heart. The deliverys are getting hard to find so they are worth
the effort and make a great vehicle for all around use.

as far a resale it will depends on who wants it i seen them go for 10,000
to 30,000 for a running driving one so like i said it depends as to what your going to do with it.
