SOLD THANKS TO ALL THAT RESPONDED

update: I have pretty much decided to withdraw the Ford from sale, as I really needed the money to finish another project and also needed the room. As I sold several other projects locally recently, I now can get around in my shop and still have room for this Ford. I know times are tough, but the price I was asking seems very low for a rust free rig that in a few weekends would become a driver with very little outlay in costs. I know auto transport is expensive...everything is! Holding on to the car with a down payment would not help me out moneywise and I would be better off getting it running myself as I just spent another several hundred dollars on parts including a nice original speedometor and gauges, bumper and other items such as stainless pieces that were missing, and there are a few local parties very interested in paying more if they can hear it run. I think it would be very difficult ever finding another unrestored Ford anywhere else in this price range...bad economy or good economy, and taking less for it is not an option for me...you can only go so cheap...although I would like to thank those who did take the time to submit offers.
Thanks for the inquirys, best of Holiday wishes and stay safe and enjoy the hobby!

This is a very solid barn find Ford with NO rust-out that I can see. It still has it's original flathead V-8 that turns over and all running gear. It belonged to the famous Harold LeMay museum in Tacoma and was awaiting restoration at time of Mr. LeMays passing, staying inside for 20 some years there, then sold to a collector 10 years ago that stored it inside a truck van for another 7 years without doing anything to it. I bought it to have a driver next summer while I tear down my '47 coupe to repaint it, but I am too busy finishing up another, and recently noticed that I am getting along in age and have decided to part with it. The original key still locks the steering wheel. and except for a dent in right fender, it is pretty straight and the floorboards are very good and solid. The back seat is in the car and still has old seat covers over upholstery. The inside window mouldings are intact, and the bumpers are included, and although the chrome is ragged, they are very straight. I lifted it up with my forklift last year and the frame appears very solid. The bad: glass is mostly due for replacement, although the rear glass is good. some chrome is missing, including the pieces that surround the side windows. front seat is missing, trunk and door handles and instument guages are missing, and other undetermined parts may be missing. All in all, a good buy and investment to restore, as it is very solid and original. It has a clear Washington title, and will roll onto a trailer, and I can help with my forklift if needed. As I remember, the trunk is very solid as well, although it is dark now and it is full of other stuff, so can't be certain. I have lots of pics, but on my camera at work. Will try to add more pics tomorrow. I will sell it without the wheels and tires on it for $2,000 and put on "rollers". I am going to put a battery in it this weekend and just for the heck of it, see if it will start. The oil looks good and it seemed to have decent compression last year when I tried it, but I was pressed for time and did not attempt to start it then. The old gentleman I get it from had turned it over periodically during storage, but like me, had too many projects in line and just kept it dry and safe.
Thanks for looking, Clyde
