Hard to say with out seeing your problem but putting a shim under the hinge (closes to the bumper) will lower the edge at the trunk opening. Of course putting a shim under the hinge at trunk opening will do the opposit. To move it side to side, loosen one bolt on one hinge and the opposit bolt on the other side. It will move straight across that way. If it dosen't move enough tighten the loose bolts and loosen the opposit bolts. It the deck lid is closer front to back on one side loosen bolt bolts on one side and adj which ever way it needs to move, if it doesn't move enough do the other side the same way. It's also best to remove the latch until the deck lid fits the hole the way you want it to. Latches have a way of moving deck lids when closeing the as they latch. Than adjust the latch. Hope this helps.
some times u have to twist and bend them , built 3 coups, one had been hit in the deck lid . get the top line straight and go from there. have patience, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
