1942 color?

I think I found the original cab color (42 1/2 ton) when I pulled some of the firewall pad off. Do you think it’s original paint? I like the color. Was thinking it was that dynamic maroon. Thoughts?

Looks a lot better than the prior owners xmas theme.

Vermillion! 42 or 52 looks good and it is the original color

Here is another color chart for '42. I cannot find any mention of Vermilion for the '42 year, see the second chart. It can be a nice colour though
