1942 Car Classified Ads

Here are the classified ads from the Los Angeles Times of May 1942. It is interesting to note that "President Roosevelt says there is no present intention of rationing gasoline in the Los Angeles area." I'll take several Model A coupes at $27.50 each!

Yeah, I've had a copy of this over my bench for years -- it's actually a lot bigger than the section I was able to scan. Make for great dreaming. Wish I could hook you guys up with some of these deals, but then we'd all just end up in boot camp and have to unload 'em again anyway! The "good old days!"
