1941 Tudor Dash Trim

Most of the Commonwealth cars originated from Ford Canada in that era but many of the parts were interchangeable. The cars sent to the southern hemisphere all seem to have these differences. Even in US production, the 1941 cars had a lot of variations. Some of this was due to the three style levels Special, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe. All the post war stuff here in the US was developed from the 1942 models which had a very limited production due to the US start up for the war effort after February 1942. Canadian production may have bypassed the 1942 model due to their prior involvement in the war. This left the Canadian parts production in a short state of limbo after the war was over.

Regarding the picture that I Posted to this Thread my our Australian 1946 Ford Deluxe, the panel in question is metal, not plastic. It is not plastic, so is not distorted. I remember that originally it was chrome plated, but my grandfather painted it, as he said the glare from the chrome was annoying.
