I just received a piece of repro cowl lacing for my 1941 pickup. It's 44 inches long. Unfortunately that's 4 inches shorter than the piece I took off. The place I got it from has a 1940 pickup and they measured theirs and it's 44 inches. Either someone drilled extra holes and put a longer piece on my truck or the 1941 had a 48 inch piece from the factory. Can anyone give me an answer as to what's correct for 1941?
