1941 side grilles

[Rhallvj@me.com]

When I put my coupe together about 12 years ago I was able to purchase repop 41 side grilles in chrome. It seems carpenter has them in bare metal but given the price of plating it would be cost prohibitive. Wondering if anyone purchased these and if so what are they made of. I’m thinking pot metal. I do not want to paint them. Possibly clear?

Chrome powder coat them maybe. Carpenter should be able to tell you what their made of.

Maybe get some parts off of it.

Better make sure the repops fit before doing anything with them.

Most of the repops that I have seen were made from stamped steel.

Thanks to all. I replied to the marketplace add looks exactly what I’m looking for. Fingers crossed.

I bought a set of aftermarket cast side grill back in '14. had to do a bit of massaging of the fender opening to make them fit correctly. a bit oversized for the opening
