1941 rear shocks same as 1947

Are 1947 rear shocks the same as 1941?

My 41 shocks bolt in from the bottom. I've noticed a lot of shocks advertised bolt into the side of the frame. Don't know if they are 47 or not.

Same shock except if using on a Comm. Car (aka) 47 / 48 Pickup takes a different arm.
