At Hershery we found 2 great front fenders and an orginal grill. We were mainly on the hunt for that grill mainly because I have read how much fun it is to get the repo unit to line up. We also found a merc 4 bolt intake for rgc carb, a dizzy for my 59ab from ken here on the barn and dropped off our shocks for my 47 to bill also, nice to put a face to a name thanks.

Now with an added lift from the hershey I got back to work. The doors were the hardest part to get right the driver side had issues down the hinge support in the middle of the door. To top it off the 40 cab inner window supports were a touch different so had to switch that piece over from the 41 door.

The plasma torch is fired up and grinder finished the details. Discoverd some pieces that were completely gone but what so you expect its ony a couple years old.

This looks so familiar except I had to replace the toe boards and firewall on mine, but I didn't have to replace the top!

I will definately keep updating the treat, the piping was old scaffolding that we cant use anymore, wasn't safe so it made perfect pieces to keep everthing square. Plus I have it already.

This is the most current place I'm at with the 41.

Yes I'm very pleased with the quality and time he must have spend to make these look like the originals, the only spot I had some metals hammer work was on lower cowl where the bumb out for the hinge bolt and rubber bumbers go, but a bean bag and hammer increase the bumb a touch, that was it. His wife was very nice to deal with on ordering also. Thankfully all these pieces are being made.

December. THats where I'm at now finishing up cab. By the end of Janurary we should have most of this truck on rolling frame. I will post more as we get the cab finished and frame work started. Thanks for all the intrest and support. Merry Christmas

I assume you mean northern classic trucks on the floor parts? How well did you find welding new metal to old worn down rusted metal with your mig?

My soft spots were mainly on panels I removed so the pieces I welded to was fairly easy so far, I've kept my temp and feed down. Yes northern classic truck made these great pieces. Thanks
