I am looking for a convertible top boot cover for a 1941 Mercury. I called Cartouche and was told that they don’t make them for the 41 Ford or Mercury. Any leads would be appreciated.
Not that complicated for a good trim shop. Are all the snaps installed? IF so a boot can be made to fit the existing snaps. If this is for a concourse car, get detailed pictures of a correct one to give the people making one for you. How the seams are, stitching etc will (should) matter to a judge! Good luck, like a lot of trades, car upholstery is also disappearing. I had trouble recently finding a good shop.
Yeah, I live in West Virginia and would have to trailer my car out of state to a trim shop. People keep telling me that they’re available to order but I’m striking out on just where that is.
