1941 Horn Ring

The bars from the center horn button to the half-ring for the '41 Super Deluxe were too-thin pot metal, and virtually all of them are broken. After several attempts, I am convinced that there is no repair that will hold up against a panic smack on the horn ring.



The '46 - '48 rings are much stouter. Will one of those fit my '41 wheel?

That is the one for 1941 Super Delux. Is that bottom bar intact? If so, that one should be saved for a show car.

sure will fit. had one on my '41 for yrs. they get bent in towards the wheel. gentle rebending will give clearance for horn to work

Uncommon to see an unbroken 41 ring.
I ran a 49 ring on my 41 for a while. The 46-48 rings will also fit.
One thing I did notice was that the 41 wheel seemed to be slightly 'deeper' than others so later rings may scratch the wheel when fitting. Some masking tape helps.
