O oldrelics Well-known member Aug 5, 2010 #1 What is supposed to be the correct engine color for a 41 V8 1/2ton pickup? I always believed they were green but a chart posted on the hamb says 41 comercial is dark blue. Can anybody verify the color? Thanks

T TomO Senior Member Aug 6, 2010 #2 If your engine is the 221 cu. in one the color should be dark green, the blue color was used on the 239 cu in engine. Most 41 pickups had the 221 engine, the 239 engine was used in Mercury and large trucks.
