1941 Ford Convertible Header

Would someone that is familiar with the 41 Ford convertible header seal attachment leave me a message. I need to know how to attatch the rubber seal to the header. Does it go in front under the header or on the verticle surface in front . Would it nail on? Thank you

On my 1948 Lincoln the rubber seal is locked in a metal u shaped groove and is attached to the header in the front (it seals the water out of the car). I would think that the engineering thinking of the time would use a similar system.

The seal on the 1941 Ford Convertible Header goes on the front bottom edge with the opening side of the seal facing the rear of the car. It is tacked to the header in that position.
