1941 flathead Ford Sedan

My husband bought a 1941 Ford sedan to restore but found it had a cracked block. He's looking for another 41 engine but since they're hard to find he's considering putting in a newer engine. What modifications need to be made for a newer engine? Help!

Risa,

You accidentally posted in a forum intended for questions to the editors. Few people read or respond to questions in this forum. You should repost in:http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4
When you repost you should update your profile with a general location, engines are expensive to ship. You should also define newer engine. Do you mean a flathead through 1948? Thru 1953? I would recommend a post in the wanted section to find the correct engine. My suggestion would be to stay with a '48 or earlier engine.
