1941 door handle ID

I am restoring a 41 convertible and am running into problems with the exterior door handles. Every set I find the square shaft is to short. Does anyone know if the exterior door handles are convertible only? neveridle

Weld an extension on the square shaft. That is what I did on my repro 36 woodie handles BTW were much cheaper than replating and are nearly identical to the casual looker.

Yes, convertible door handles have longer shafts than the regular car bodies. The P/N for a '41 convertible is 11A 7622400. If can't locate this then follow what mrtexas advised and weld an extension on a regular '41 handle.
