This is a 1940 Ford V8-60 crankshaft that has been Redi-Stripped.The machine work to the journals has NOT been done. This crankshaft is from a 1940 racing engine using 1937-39 connecting rods which are lighter than the 1940 rods allowing higher/faster revs. The mains are 1940 specs and need to be machined .020" US. The rod journals are 1937-39 specs and need to be machined .020" US. Has been checked by a machine shop and verified they will clean up at .020".
