1940 pickup hinge help needed

sent my cab with new firewall to the paint shop to fine tune bodywork and spray in primer. they filled in the lower hole for the hinges on the flange by the firewall. can someone please post picture of hood hinge area and give me a center of hole measurement. there is a recessed area on cowl by the flange just want to make sure of location. thanks for the help steve

The hinges are in two distinct holes in the cowl side.
What you are referring to is the spring assister arms, the end of which does attach to a hole in the flange.

It's located where the recess is, just slightly lower than the center of the recess.

thanks for the help you cab looks to be in same stage as mine. just got mine bolted down on frame and starting to hang doors. thanks again steve
