looking for 1940 mercury grille parts for my tudor. my grille is a mess but about 75% complete and i need some bars and divider pieces to repair it. can't afford what people are asking for complete grille. thanks for any parts or pieces someone might have for your price and shipping.....george
 
Did you ever find your grille pieces? My 40 Merc grille is also in need of repair, would you mind giving me a tutorial how you repaired the bars? And would you happen to have any bars left over to sell?

i will be selling what i have. was told to use jb weld on the bars as they are pot metal and very hard to weld. i have seen them repaired before, looked to be brazed. pm your email if you want some pics and i will get some for you. good luck, these grilles are very rare and expensive which is why i decided to repair mine. i believe someone is repopping them but they want like $1800 for one. just what i heard, haven't been able to track it down. later, george.
