1940 Lincoln-Zephyr Sedan; a solid California survivor with recent Capri Blue paint. Body is straight with no surface rust. The V-12 engine has been rebuilt with a later 305 CU block. It is .060 overbored with new main and rod bearings at .020 undersize. All engine accessories have been rebuilt or checked for satisfactory operation. Mechanically, the car is sound and a pleasure to drive with the Columbia overdrive adding to the roadworthiness. Grill, bumpers and other chrome items are original with evidence minor pitting in some areas. All original stainless trim is in place and is in excellent condition. The upholstery, installed several years ago is acceptable. The radio is a period correct Philco with a proper mounting plate and escutcheon; and it works! The original radio will come with the car. It has a factory heater. The tires are recently installed Coker 7.00x16 4" whitewalls. I do not have the history of the car, but ownership records from the '60s show it in California since then. In 1991 the car was in the opening scenes of the movie "Bugsy". The odometer shows just over 80,000 miles and in my judgment appears accurate. $18,500.
