1940 ignition lock cylinder and key

I am wrapping up my 1940 four door project, and am finally working on the ignition lock cylinder and key. After close examination, it is clear that someone before me has drilled out the retaining plug/pin, using the correct drill for a 3/8-24 set screw. I have tapped the hole successfully. Looking closely at the lock cylinder, I discover that the key I have actually is incorrect and will not roll the cylinder when you secure the outside housing. Previous owner has just been rotating the whole cyl assy to move the column lock mechanism. I see a code on the outside of the cylinder. It is FK074, Is there a locksmith that can make me a key for this cylinder with just the code and having the cylinder in hand to test? I have been unable to get Jessers to respond to phone calls or emails. Thanks

Good job by 32phil. I located some 3/8-24 set screws 3/8" long with a brass tip, like a dog nose set screw. Its onlinemetals.com. Nice folks to work with. These set screws are perfect to hold the ign cylinder in place. part number mp-00066386
