I am trying to figure out how the fuel push rod goes back in to the motor. mine had an electric fuel pump and I am switching it back. Does the push rod get placed in before the intake manifold goes on or does it dropped in from the top after? My intake has this in it (see Pic) and I am not sure if this was after the conversion and needs to come out or left in place.

You need to take out the tube, put in the push rod, then put the tube back in. There should be a grove in the fuel pump housing that the tube flange fits into. The pictures looks like you have things set up correctly.
