Mike, If you look closely at the door jamb, you will notice a slotted round head screw just adjacent to the outer handle. The screw is below the surface of the sheet metal. It nearly always comes out fairly easy.
Remove the screw, pull out the handle and reverse to install.

Compare the length of the door handle shaft to you "new" handle. There were numerous lengths for the many body styles.
 
Once the screw is out you will have to tip the old handle downward to pull it out.
