1940 fordor deluxe

Thanks for the info.

“very good shape” is hard to define as I have not seen it yet. Just looking at pictures.

But looks good, but always looks better in a picture.

It has 40,000 original miles. It is advertised at $8k

Depends on what you have to do to get it in good driving shape, plus the cosmetic repairs. The advertiser isn't offering a lot of info in the ad.

40,000 original miles? $8,000? Yeah, sure, there's a sucker born every minute. If it's within 500 miles of you, go see it in person with cash available quick. Pretty good condition has to mean that it can make it around the block under its own power, and that you can verify the serial number on the frame against the title. Make the transaction at the DMV window.

I paid 5000$ can for mine.46371 miles orig interior nice car!8000 is not rediculous.

He does not give much info; it is about 100 miles from me. Close enough for a look; but I have too many projects so will probably just pass on it.

Looks like a decent car, but you never know until you kick the tires. Even then you never know.

Thanks,

Bluestem

If I was 100 miles from it I would have to talk to him and maybe go look. As you say, you never know until you go look, but it might be potentially a good car. The interior looks nice enough in the pic.

I sold mine for $19,500 on eBay , it was in great shape and ran. Had early 60s interior all original outside no rust or dents. G-man
