I am also selling my 1940 Ford Standard 5 window Coupe. I found in a barn about 10 years ago and bought it from the second owner. I freshened everything enough to get it running including a new Drake gas tank. Most of the paint is original. The front seat had a seat cover on it and is in real nice condition. The door panels are there but the head liner is gone. Has a later Flathead with a Ford Factory rebuild tag on it. Runs and drives. All original clear glass but the rear window that has some fogging. Still has the 6 volt system. The tail pan has a piece of tin over it as the drive shaft tunnel. I removed the exhaust manifolds and bought a set of used Fenton Headers and was planning on running straight pipes for exhaust. they go with the car. Has some dents but little rust. I drove it up and down the road at my shop before I pulled the exhaust off the car. I have the original title with the car. Has the original wiring but the last time I had it off the lift all the lights worked. Speedometer reads a little over 30,000 miles. This is a car that could be easily on the road this summer. E-mail me with any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks, Jim. jehawver@gmail.com
