1940 Ford Door Latch Springs

Hi Guys....I am in need of N.O.S. upper & lower door latch springs for my '40 Ford Conv. I have a broken top spring. Though I would change both while it's apart. Thanks, Pat Fenner, pfenner@cinci.rr.com

pat --i have found the small springs occasionally at swap meets but have never found the long spring in 15 yrs of looking. they are one of a kind good luck. i don`t know if drake will sell the springs seperately from his new conv latches or if they are the same as originals. he used to list his doorsprings as being the same as all 40 models but of course he is mistaken as the conv springs are different and won`t work right.

the ones you buy that ay 40 all do not fit the conv they are different springs from a coupe latch.I ahd found a guy with one juck conv door and got the latch off it.But now Drake makes the conv latch now that I have finished mine but you have to bear the price
