I just bought a 1940 Ford Coupe. The back rest is hinged at the top. It also has a prop it looks like what holds up the trunk lid on older cars. I never seen this before it looks like it been there . Does anyone know if this the way it came or someone did this. It works really good to have access to the space behind the seat. Like to have some information on this. Thanks for anyone help.

If you are new to 40's you should buy the 1940 Book from the Early Ford V-8 Club. www.earlyfordv8.org. Kube is the author.
