1940 Ford 1/2 Ton Pickup Flathead V8 59ab engine which is
free and turns over with the battery. Has good spark at the points
but wires and cap/rotor need replacing to get the spark to the plugs.
Been in a garage since 1972. Getting harder and harder
to find these 1940 Ford 1/2 Ton Pickups because so many have been hot rodded.
The bed and tailgate are rust through in spots.
Passenger rear fender is shot, the drivers side is better.
Front fenders very solid as is the entire front end. Frame is solid, cab is solid except
for the bottom rear which will need patching. Gauge cluster looks good. Shifts through
all the gears, in fact when I tried starting it, I forgot and had it in reverse and the
truck walked backwards a couple of feed until I stopped turning it over. I pushed the
clutch in and it rolled foward while in reverse.
Guy I purchased from had a transferable title for it and is currently searching for it so
