1940 Deluxe Grille Question

My '40 was restored 30 or so years ago and has mostly sat in a garage on blocks since then until I purchased it. The brightwork on the front of the car has some corrosion, with the grille center sections being the worst. Before I decide what to do with the grille, I'm trying to figure out if it's an original or reproduction. I can't find any part numbers on either half, but based on the grinding marks and other roughness from manufacturing, my guess is that it's a repro and not worth replating. What do y'all think?

That's a repop for certain.

Kube is correct.
It's not worth replating.
I bought a repro from DRAKE and had no problems.
Avoid Vintiques grille.

I bought one of those grilles that were made in Argentina ( I believe) years ago.
If anyone wants to see something that looks like Oats that have been through the Horse.
I could provide pictures.
