1940 Deluxe Convertible Door Alignment

I bought a coil from Skip Haney along with him rebuilding and setting up my helmet distributor. I must have reefed down on it too much when installing and I cracked the beautiful "Bakelite" case. I felt sick, so I called Skip and he told me he rebuilds them with a new unit that is encased in silicone instead of the tar that they originally had. Skip said it should be fine and it is . . . except for the crack!

I think it is absolutely wonderful that "Kube" , Karl and others did all in their power to share their knowledge and experience in helping Nick "remediate" his convertible problem.

Sure is great when folks pool and pass on their expertise.
 
The technical info and moral support is priceless!! I'm sure I'll need more as I dive deeper into my new '40.
