1940 Bombardier B7 snowmobile. I know, not a Ford, but between 1937 and 1943 Bombardier built 154 of these machines. All of them came with the flat head Ford V-8. Some before 1940 had floor shifts, all later ones had column shift. Bombardier used 1934 Ford steering columns and 38 Ford gauges. This machine had been restored back to original operating condition. The only exception is that it is now 12V with electronic ignition. This runs and drives fantastic and will cruise in the snow at 30 miles per hour. A real head turner on the trails. This was a Taxi in Rigaud, Quebec in the 1940's. I have the original taxi registration. The machine was originally insulated with Quebec newspapers of the day. I have many of them with the Bombardier family nametags still on them. A very unique and very drivable "Ford" powered snowmobile.
