I've got all the old stuff taken out and painted the roof ceiling etc.

Does the wind cord get installed first ? Also installing the wind cord down through where the dash is above the kick panels......do I just tuck that in or are there bolts to unscrew ?

Headliner gets installed by starting at the rear ?

I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of cussing and swearing before this is over !

Thx......Mike

Mike, I installed the windlace first and I started from the front. My car is a coupe. Installed the headliner with the dash removed so it was easy to tuck the windlace and the material down behind ends of dash. You probably can loosen the dash bolts and screws at top of dash enough to do this. The cowl panels will hide all the left over and when you're all done you can trim it if desired.
Most important! Be patient and regard each small thing you do as being one BIG step in accomplishing your goal. If you find yourself getting frustrated leave it alone for a little while. Keep your hands clean. Here's a few pics.

Don't forget to replace the tack strips in the door jamb. I also secure the windlace at the kick panels with pop rivets. The original windlace at the cowl panels was secured with "drive nails". You can get "drive nails" from LeBaron-Bonney, but pop rivets work just as good.
