1939 Mercury Coupe
Runs and drives pretty nicely. Good around town cruiser. Little tweaking here and there and she will be tip top.
59ab flathead backed by a toploader 3 speed transmission
NEW:
Tie rod/Drag link and alignment. Drag link needs a slight adjustment to get the steering wheel straightened out.
Brakes are new, wheel cylinders, shoes, hoses and master cylinder. Will need some slight adjustment after some miles are put on the car.
Carb is rebuilt
rewired for 12v including new GM 1 wire alternator. No original wiring left. Its all replaced. A turn signal switch was added as well.
gas lines are all new. Tank is a newer stainless tank.
Reds headers and dual exhaust
edelbrock electric pump under the car.
Newer radial tires.
Gauges all work. Get in and go for a cruise around town. I live on a 45 mph road and she gets up to speed just fine.
It could use a new belt. The one I bought is really stiff, I may have a new one on before it sells.
The car comes with some odds and ends for extras, tail light housing, headlight lense and trim ring, some hoses and I forget what else. I also have the 4 original hub caps.
The car was repainted some time ago, it shows really nicely after a good cleaning and a wax. Its all Lacquer paint. There is some filler in the driver side fenders. Couple small holes in the floor board/trunk. This is a really solid car that presents itself really well.
