Hello all, I am looking for a 39 Zephyr blower motor??? Some say that it might be the same style 6 volt motor as on some of the fords??? Any help, ideas, or even a part would be greatly appreciated!! Daddio

all most all blower motors are interchangable, they usually bolt on with 5 bolts, the squirl cages can be changed, just check the rotation of the motor, they turn both ways, you will need yours out for a comparision,

Doesn't changing the wires around determine rotation? My motor has 2 "bolt posts" that stick out of the shaft side, that inturn bolts to a 3 prong mount...

ohh darn, the motors are held in place by 2 or 3 bolts to the plate that bolts to the body or fire wall, sorry about that i was not all here when i posted that, not to sure about the wiring you maybe right just make sure any motor and squirl cage you get turns the same as yours, so it will blow air

I take it that your looking for a blower motor for your Hot Air heater. I have a bunch of Hot Air heater stuff,I will take a look tomorrow. Im also looking for Hot Air heater parts for my 39 Zephyr. The blower motors are the same for the Ford and Lincoln but the housings are different.

Changing the wires wont reverse the rotation. It can be done by taking the motor apart and swapping the brushes from side to side .

Thanks Ken, if you were able to find one that would be great!! Please keep me in mind... thanks again, Jeff

Would those motors be the same as 40 or 41 to 48 motors? I have several in working condition tthat I would paart with.

Hi Ken, Are you going to be at the Moonshine Festival in October? If so, we are having a "Barner's" BBQ on Friday the 22nd following the Driving Tour. I'm also looking for parts for the Hot Air heater in our '39 Zephyr... Hope to see you in Dawsonville. Vic
