1939 Headlight Socket

[xwynnsguy]

Hello People, It's been a while since I've been active. I'm looking for some help with a headlight socket for my 39. The aftermarket doesn't have anything available right now, and I would prefer stock. If anyone has a good one they would part with ?? Happy to $$ any help would be appreciated. Thx, Tom

I just went through this looking for sockets for my 39. I couldn’t find any used ones but got lucky and found nos on eBay after some repairs to the wiring I fitted them to my new aftermarket reflectors and installed in my Drake buckets and after much dickery got them working. Those bulbs are a bear to install in the sockets, had to get them in with the reflectors out of the buckets. Then I managed to drop one lense and break it making me source another. They look much better than the 40 headlights that my car came with.
