1939 glove box lock cylinder question

Has anyone tried to replace just the cylinder lock on the glove box. I bough mine broke and haven't had much success trying to replace it for cheap. I don't want to pay 100 bucks to open my glove box, will any ford lock cylinder fit? Or any ideas where to find a replacement. I tried ebay
