I am selling my beloved 1939 Ford standard coupe. I purchased a nice 1933 Ford pickup last weekend and just don't have the space or money for everything. I have owned this car for nearly 3 years. It os an old hot rod, had a 283 in it backed by the stock Ford 3 speed trans. When I bought the car it had sat in a driveway since the late 70's/early 80's.
The car is EXTREMLY strait. I mean, a very strait car. The rear fenders are near mint, hood and deck lid is also extremely nice. The body itself is also very strait. It has all the glass in it, windows roll up and down, doors open and shut nice. The car steers and rolls nice. I actually drove this car after I got it however I pulled engine and sold it as I planned on not running a SBC. The front cross member was cut for the fuel pump on the SBC and the drivers side inner fender was cut for the generator. I have a space mint front crossmember and an NOS inner fender for the car. I have boxes of spare parts, very nice chrome windshield frame, new running boards, etc. The gas tank is out of the car and included. It will need cleaned. Firewall and under the hood is nice, frame is nice. The interior is the old red and white tuck and roll. The dash is mint, not cut or butchered. Stock gauges are extremely nice. Has the stock 39 pedals and ****** in it. Rear end, suspension and brakes are stock as well. The tires are very nice old bias plys with neat old 16" full caps. The deck lid opens and shits nice, but the springs are weak. I do have the tail light lenses and trim rings as well. The car has some rust in the lower quarters. Also the front floor is rusty, and the passenger side trunk floor. The car had a bag of fertilizer stored in the trunk. Other then that the car is solid. Fenders are very nice were they meet the running boards. A few patch panels and you are ready to roll. Even the tool tray in the back is solid. There has been a patch put on under the trunk lid long ago, pretty nice job.
I am trying to describe this car as well as I can. It is a nice desiarable car, and would be a very awesome patia car or start to a great hot rod or restoration. I do have a clear WA title in my name.
I am asking 8500.00 or reasonable offers. I can help with shipping if needed, but cost and arrangments are up to you. If you are local feel free to give me a buzz and come check the car out.

I have had quite a few trade offers and lots of interest but no buyer yet.

I'll sweeten the deal: I have a 59AB flathead core that I will throw in and I also forgot to mention that I have a front floor section that is rust free so it will fix the rust in the front floor area and a new Bob Drake halogen headlight bulb kit.

I do also have a dropped axe that I had dropped that can be negotiated into the deal. Gimme a call or PM and lets talk. I'm a motivated seller but not a desperate one :D

I have also had a lot of people ask about the paint. It looks bad because because the son of the guy I got it from started to DA the thing then sprayed some primer on the areas he sanded. The primer is just about worn off from a tarp being on it and the primer is flaking off the roof. It is bare metal and paint underneath not filler like some of you have asked. I have looked this car over very well and see nothing hiding.
