Woven lining or non-woven? What was installed on the new cars in 1939?

Last woven linings was in 36 i believe,molded after that. ken ct. This comes from an old "Motor Manual" ? ken ct

I was thinking woven on mechanicals, molded on hydraulics, but I have been wrong before. lol

New Ford cars in 39 should have woven. The Molded linings were first used in 40, and the cars with molded linings were identified with a "M" painted on the backing plate.
