These are aftermarket sealed beam conversions for 1937-1939 standard. 1940 Ford came with sealed beam headlights, and 1939 was the last year for small bulb with silvered reflectors.

I don't think they are for a 39 or 40 Ford headlight as the parking light on a 40 is at the top. Also they look to be the incorrect configuration. For some reason I thought they might belong on a Willys.

Thanks Guys. I have seen the one with the signal lense before, but have not seen the set in the last pic's. Rod

Here's what they are but the clock is missing :D Actually, I think they were made by a company called Electrodyne or something similar. They were for sealed-beam conversions.

Thanks 39 Coupe, I put them for sale on the Swap section. maybe you can make more clocks. Need to clear the shelves of all non Model A parts. Have too much stuff in the shop to get much work done right now. Rod

Rowdy it is great to see I am not the only person caught up in the insanity of overfilling his nest. I think they need a 12 step group for this malady. Forget working
on the cars, I cannot even find a staging area anymore to facilitate a clean-up! Good luck on your surrounds. The company referred to was actually called Electroline. I have a couple of varieties of these too, and appreciate learning the stuff revealed in response to your post...thanks!

I am learning also. Going to be clearing the shelves in the next few weeks, gotta find room again. Fridays purchase of parts really did not help the room situation. I made the deal over the phone and was told a couple of boxes, maybe alittle more. Filled up the pickup including the cab. The price was right and there is some really nice stuff even though most is 30-40-GM parts. I did find a set of NOS Model A kingpins and some NORS Flathead valve guides. So far I an abit over half done inventorying it. Rod

Only reason I thought of making it into a clock was because they were both sitting on the workbench and it just seemed to click. Thanks but I'll pass on more rings. I already have too much stuff sitting around. :D Good luck.
