I need a driver quality rear bumper for a '38 standard sedan.
They are a little wider than the front bumper - similar to a '37 rear bumper.
Also a transmission cover for a 37-38-39 Standard with a V8-60 motor.
The cut-out is further towards the front than an 85HP one.

Hello Chris We son and I are doing a 38 club convt.and have been hunting bumpers .The infor. we have is both front and rear 38 bumpers are the same they are turned upside down from 37 and are called smilies 37 ends turn down called frowns.or sad.The 37-8 fronts are the same except one up38 one down37. bumperetts are different .The rear 37 bumper is one to its own it has a much larger curve or bow to it than the 38 bumpers and has the ends turned down ..so which one do youneed I have a real good 37 complete with arms that I could sellit was bought thinking it for a 38. I am in London ontario Canada about 200 Km east of Detroit Mich.
 
I need the '38 - the " smile " rear bumper.
The '38 rear bumper is similar to the '37.
Don't sell yours until you are sure.

Re the 37 rear will look at it tomorrow I think the chrome is good enough that it could be used as is there is also the arms with it .Johnny.
