1938 pickup wiper question

Hey all,

I have a 1938 1/2 ton pickup and i need some wipers. All I have are two holes and I have no clue what I need. Do I require one motor or two? Its still 6 volt, so I might be stuck with vaccum motor(s). If its just one motor Ill need the armature and have no idea where to get one... I'd like to keep it as stock looking as possible.

I had a 36 pu with a non-operative wiper. The motor was vac operated with a hose fished thru the windshield post up from the intake manifold. As I recall there were two short shafts coming thru the panel above the windshield, one for on/off and the other regulating speed. Hope this helps. If you go on the swap meet section you can probably get the needed parts.
 
I have a 39 pickup. Vacuum wiper with 2 holes in the valence. One wiper on the driver's side. If I understand it right, a second wiper was on the delux model or as an accessory option. Just like the chrome windshield option.
 
I have a 38 pickup project going, on mine theres two holes in valance drivers side on the wiper motor, two levers one for turnig on/off ,one manual operation I have valace off . can send pic to email to show what looks like
