Out for a drive yesterday and ran into some trouble. Transmission locked up. Can't move the shifter to change gears. It seems to be stuck in gear
Motor starts & runs but when releasing the clutch stalls out.
Any thoughts on where to start for problem diagnosis?
Thanks in advance

Without further information about what exactly happened I'll assume the problem occurred when changing gears. Start by taking the top off the transmission and looking inside. I'm guessing the shifter slipped from the fork and left the transmission in one gear and started to engage another. Should be easy enough to fix if that is the problem.

Let us know what you find.

Well got the floor disassembled & the top off the ******. You were right the forks got disengaged. Got them lined up again but how do I disengage the gears & how do I stop this from happening again?
Thanks in advance

dr,
Sounds like the shift tower has developed excessive wear....everywhere.
I have a couple life time supplies of tower assemblies if you need one.
