I need any advice on how to of transmission removal in a 1938 ford coupe, any tips tricks or advice would be greatly appreciated prior to my removal thanks in advance.

I've never done it on a finished assembled car, but they say to remove the rearend and drive shaft first, or the only other way is to pull the engine.

There ain't no easy way. Pull the engine or pull the rearend. Lucky for you, Lou Grosso ( Early Ford v8 ) recently moved to NC. He'll have all the parts you need.

Ok so I need to remove the rear end disconnect the torque tube from the transmission, remove the seat and pull the trans from the inside of the car is this correct?

This sounds like a big job but it is not. You will have lots of room for wrenches and all fractional size nuts and bolts. Make sure you have the car on good jacks if you remove the rearend. A friend helping is a good idea.

Sounds right, but search older threads, this was brought up in detail before, and I think they said you'll have to slightly jack up the rear of the engine to clear the mounts or something? Good luck
