38Tudor Member Sep 2, 2014 #1 I have the original cable brakes on my car. I'm looking for some advice on the best place to buy brake shoes. A lot of places only offer to reline them. I'm looking for complete set of woven brake shoes. Please advise.

My suggestion is to purchase the lining and rivet set and then get a brake and clutch shop to install the linings for you. The lowest price I could find a new set of linings was at Macs: http://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_m...sell=Homepage_Featured_Category_Drum+Brakes

JSeery Member Emeritus Sep 3, 2014 #4 Is there a reason you are wanting new shoes in place of having your shoes relined?
C Chuck Kuntz Well-known member Sep 5, 2014 #5 I believe that I still have some new shoes with bonded brake lining for $15 each, but that would not be woven type lining.

38Tudor Member Sep 5, 2014 #6 Thanks guys! I guess I'm going to re line my shoes. Getting all the parts for this car is getting overwhelming. I needed to be put back on track.
