19Fordy Well-known member May 17, 2020 #2 12.00 in. dia when new. The .060 in. is the max dia. allowed after drums have been "turned" or machnined to maximum allowable dia. Once the drum. dia. exceeds 12.060 in. it's time for new drums. At least that' the way it is on a 40 ford. Last edited: May 17, 2020
