Rebuilding my '38 standard tudor when I get the call from the machine shop. Crank is no good.

Could use one. live outside chicago.

Did you find a crank? I have one out of a '36. Came with extra engine parts I got with a '36 sedan. Seller told me it had never been ground, but I haven't mic'd it. I am about to take a complete '37 engine apart because a buyer is only interested in getting the block. This was a running but tired engine 20 years ago when I acquired it. I am pretty sure the crankshaft main journals looked good when I removed the caps to inspect them back then. If you are still in need a crankshaft, let me know with a pm. Late 36 LB to early '38 21 stud engines all have the same crankshaft. Shipping this to Chicago would not be cheap though.
