1937 pick up running board need a measurement

I'm putting the fenders on my pickup and the board doesn't meet the rear fender. This is a glass running board that came with the truck. I'm hoping they might be a different year or something.

They measure slightly less than 53" . With the rear fender in place there is a 1" gap between the end of the board and the bottom of the rear fender where they should meet
 
52.85" is the correct measurement...so it sounds like the boards are close. 35 thru 37 should be the same.
 
35-36 are same. 37 has heavier brace under spare wheel mount (double thickness of brace) and driver side does not have the rear brace, just one at front. Rear is supported only by rear fender.
