1937 paint formula Pomegranate Red...

I have been searching HIGH and low for a 1937 paint formula known as Pomegranate Red.
It was used with the 1937 DeLuxe Passenger Cars as a Special Spring Color as described in The Early Ford V-8 as Henry Built It page 173.
I have asked this question on Fordbarn and no one seems to know the answer.
Can you help?
Thank You so much.

PS...have put this on the Early V-8 site as well as the Early V-8 Club of America site....was there such a color?

Hopefully some of you may be into the early V-8's as well as the Model A.

Pluck, check the AutoColor Library and see if it comes up for 1937. If it does there should be a chip and a formula. Also keep checking back to the EFV8 forum. Sometimes the posting is slower than here.

I suggest that you try www.tcpglobal.com They have most, if not all, of the early paint company color chip charts online with the codes. The chips include PPG and DuPont. TCP will mix the paint to match in any of the modern materials including lacquer. I have received four different Model A colors from them and the match in sunlight to the current MAFCA color chip chart was excellent. Gar Williams
