1937 grille???

How do you tell a reproduction car grille from an original, I am having a hard time telling from photos of ones for sale? Thanks

An original grille is stamped forming perforated grill bars where the reproduction grilles have individual bars spot welled to the outer frame. The original grille is a two piece grille that is married together down the center seam. The repro grille has a solid center seam.

Corrected thanks Zeke

I think he means after market has solid center seem. The chrome is an after market the sand blasted is an original. Zeke
