1937 ford transmission issue??

I recently put my 1937 ford back together after removing the rear end to change gears in the rear end and to replace the clutch. Everything was going just fine until today. When I got into the car today to back it up and put it into reverse I let the clutch all the way out and the car did not move or stall either. If I tried any of the forward gears they worked fine and the clutch worked fine also. Does this sound like an issue in the transmission?? Before today reverse was working just fine.

Also today I noticed when going down hill a slight clunking sound when the transmission wasn’t under load. If it was under load there was no clunking.

See if the shift fork missed dropping into the fist/reverse gears. It's really easy to miss align a fork when dropping the cover back on. Once you've misaligned a shifter fork, you'll never make that mistake again, easy to do and luckily really easy to fix, hopefully that's all it is. When you take the shifter top off do it slowly so you can hopefully see that the fork is misaligned before pulling the cover completely off. Put everything in neutral and drop the top cover back on.
